The all-new Pearl 65 Flybridge yacht made her world debut at the 2014 Cannes Yachting Festival on display at the Ocean Drive pontoon.
Pearl Motor Yachts, one of the UK’s leading luxury yacht builders, unveiled the Pearl 65 Flybridge yacht, the second of an exclusive suite of yachts built in a unique collaboration with award-winning naval architect Bill Dixon and famous interior designer, Kelly Hoppen. During the launch party at Ocean Drive pontoon, customers, friends of the brand and media were treated to a concert.
The innovative Pearl 65 brings exceptional levels of style and sophistication. She builds on the success of the Pearl 75, launched in 2013, which was named as the best Motor Yacht under 25 metres at the 2013 International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
The beautifully designed Pearl 65 offers a host of unique features, a superb sea keeping and maneuverability. The vessel offers outstanding levels of comfort with four luxurious cabins and additional accommodation for two crew members. She includes a unique open plan, an inside/outside saloon allowing for easy, everyday use and alfresco dining.
Like the Pearl 75, the Pearl 65 features pod-drive propulsion, incorporating joystick control technology offering the owner the ability to operate the yacht without crew.
Standard features include a hydraulically operated bathing platform, air conditioning, hydraulic passerelle, generator, and teak decking.
Powered by either triple Cummins Zeus 600 HP, Twin Volvo IPS 800 HP engines or twin Volvo D13 shaft drive, the yacht will have a fuel capacity of 770 Gallons (3,500 litres), reach a top speed of 32 knots and have a cruising range of 350 nautical miles.
Iain Smallridge, managing director of Pearl Motor Yacht’s said: “The launch of the Pearl 75 exceeded all of our expectations, thanks to the unique elements both Bill Dixon and Kelly Hoppen bring to the Pearl range, and their drive for pioneering design excellence. This partnership has provided our customers with something that is totally unique and has created a great deal of anticipation surrounding the launch of the Pearl 65.” Iain Smallridge concluded: “With its elegantly appointed design coupled with technological innovation, the all-new Pearl 65 promises to be another groundbreaking vessel.”
