During a Sunday, the Raid Inter Hotels French Riviera will provide an opportunity for staff of hotels between Menton and Theoule-sur-Mer to give an outstanding performance. To meet their customers’ exacting standards? Rather to fligh the colors of their home while having fun, calling into action mind and team spirit. The presentation press conference took place in gorgeous Hotel Le Mas d’Artigny in Saint Paul de Vence.
Following the success of the two previous editions, the Team Nature agency extended the Raid Inter Hotels Côte d’Azur (RIHCA). Unique in France, this meeting is open to all staff among 1 to 5-star establishments, will bring together on Sunday, September 29, 2013 nearly 400 people on the Sainte -Marguerite island, off the bay of Cannes. Attracted by this initiative offering strong human values, local branches of Mediterranean Crédit Mutuel, involved in supporting the local community, have renewed their parnership for the second consecutive year.
The first value developed by the Raid Inter Hotels Côte d’ Azur is to federate. Federate hotels between them, teams before the event – during training – and later, beyond the work environment. Then solidarity: on D-Day, helping each other within the team allows no one to be forgotten and find together a way forward in the event. Conviviality is also put forward, creating a craze and a fraternity. Finally, ecology is the centerpiece in the Raid Inter Hotels: no motorized activity, practice of Carbon Equivalent, and for each registered team, a tree will be planted on the Ile Sainte Marguerite. Thus, a forest of 80 trees will be planted in collaboration with the ONF (Office National des Fôrets – National Woodlands Office).
Five demanding, timed and eco-friendly tests to go through:
More than 80 four-people mixed teams, employees of the hotels, from the valet to the Director, through the house -keeping and human resources, will defend the colors of their establishment. Sporting talents and reflection qualities will have to be used for this day, that focuses on five eco-friendly events.
1 / Orienteering: 5 Stars are to be found including one at sea. A good strategy will be critical to the success of this competition.
2 / Enigmas: at every Star, solving a enigma can win a 20-minute bonus (smartphones won’t help…)
3 / The stand-up paddle and double kayak: each team uses 2 paddles and 1 double kayak to race a water course.
4 / Running race transition between the water test, the final test and finish.
5 / Adventure Course: a course of hurdles to go through as a team. Three workshops : ski tandem, tipper deck, net test.
A friendly lunch will allow teams to recover before the awards ceremony, chaired by Deputy-Mayor of Cannes Bernard Brochand, in which six teams will be rewarded.
