The exhibition “Shanyrak, Voûte Céleste” in Cannes offers a unique opportunity to discover the Kazakh art through the works of contemporary painters, sculptors and carpet artists.
On Friday, March 6, 2015 à 5:30 p.m. at the Espace Miramar, David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, will inaugurate the exhibition Shanyrak, voûte céleste (Shanyrak, Canopy of Heaven) in the presence of MP Bernard Brochand, Vladimir Semenikhin, Kazakhstan Consul in Monaco, Eric Imbert, Vice President of Thales Alénia Space, Thomas de Pariente, Deputy to Mayor for Culture and Youth, and the exhibited Kazakhstan contemporary artists: Goulfairous Ismaïlova, Marat Bekeyev, Édouard Kazarian and Andrey Noda.

The exhibition Shanyrak, voûte céleste is presented in the framework of “Building bridges between East and West“, under the patronage of the Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in France and the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Nice.

Add a drop of his soul
Kazakhstan’s culture has a set of multiple origins. “Being a creator involves that, at what is already known to all, one may add one drop of his soul, his personal experience.” The words of the famous poetess Fariza Ongarsynova summarize the spirit of this exhibition, organized in Cannes in link with the Cultural Season of Kazakhstan in France.

Goulfairous Ismaïlova’s leitmotiv is to beautify the world . The Providence has generously endowed her with both beauty, spirit, exceptional voice, talent in drama, and a gift for painting.
Symbol – Gulfairus Ismailova
Marat Bekeyev contemplates and represent the world through a prism of symbols. His creations arouse deep feelings of mental associations and meditations. His creations image his creed: all is conceived in terms of mythical figures common to the whole world.
Edward Kazarian, a technical and technology genius expresses the microcosm in the macrocosm. The world goes along with harmony, in which each character chooses its mission, being a fragment of the whole.
Familiar Landscape – Andrey Noda
According to Andrey Noda, the nuances are differentiating us from each other. He sees the world as a reflection, through a prism, distorting mirrors and expresses its colors alliances.
Representing a Kazakhstan with multiple nationalities, the four artists do not look alike at all. That said, they all meet, united by a common vision of the world around the word “Peace”.
