The 8th Antibes Yacht Show will take place from April 23 to 26, 2014 in Antibes Port Vauban, Europe’s largest yachting port.
Year by year, the show attendance is keeping on growing: over 15,000 visitors visited the show during last year’s edition. From 2014 on, the Antibes Yacht Show will host brokerage firms as usual, but also shipyards, as the number of shipyards requesting to participate in the Antibes Yacht Show was ever increasing. They will have the opportunity to present their latest models before the begenning of the season.
Over the years, Antibes Yacht Show has become the Mediterranean’s absolute must Spring show. This first major exhibition before the summer allows the professionals to present their products or services before the season starts. Yachts for sale or for charter get their first exposure and last year many yachts exhibited at the show have received offers and a subsequent amount of models were sold.
Antibes, as Europe’s yachting center, attracts crews from all over the world, looking for a yacht to embark on for the season. Antibes Yacht Show is thus the first meeting point for crew at the beginning of the season. Antibes Yacht Show, with its different lounges and parties, offers them the possibility to meet, renew old contacts, find jobs and meet professionals who can help and guide them in their research.
This year, Antibes Yacht Show offers yachtsmen to train with line throwing and to test knowledge on life raft contents with Péjout Marine Services which offers to train in rescue situation with the line throwing and the MOB. Shots will be done from the Quai des Milliardaires – IYCA on Friday April 25 and Saturday April 26 under the auspices of the SNSM. Among the best students, a winner will have the opportunity to be rewarded every evening with a magnum of rosé on Péjout Marine Services stand (A207 in front of the Bastion St Jaume) where you can test your knowledge and find the 3 missing items in content of life rafts in a limited time.
