The Hyatt Student Prize 8th edition, rewarding the best Hotelier Manager of Tomorrow, took place on December 3, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez.
The Hyatt Student Prize was awarded to the most talented student from international hospitality management schools for the first time at the prestigious Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez, on the mythical La Croisette, overlooking the bay of Cannes and the Mediterranean.
The award ceremony was attended by Peter Fulton, President of Hyatt Europe Africa, Michel Jauslin, Vice President of Hyatt Group and General Manager of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, the members of the Jury and the best candidates from schools selected by Hyatt.

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. The Jury members of the Hyatt Student Prize tested the candidates to discern the aspects of their personalities and the leadership qualities that will determine their future management.
A superb trophy signed Baccarat
20 internationally renowned hospitality management schools were invited to present their best students to enter the competition including the schools of Lausanne, Hong Kong, Oxford, the United Arab Emirates and France. Only 8 candidates were selected for the finals at the ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez.
After a harsh selection, the jury chose three finalists before awarding the Hyatt Student Prize to Rubina Isam from the Lausanne Hotel School. At the end of the ceremony, the winner was presented with the Hyatt Student Prize trophy by the President of the jury. As in previous editions, the beautiful trophy was made by the Cristallerie Baccarat.
A hotly contested selection

The contest take place with students from the best hospitality management schools in the world. It aims to support the growth and development of the next generation of hoteliers that will forge a career in the best Hyatt Hotels & Resorts establishments on the planet.
The criteria for integrating the competition
According to the exacting requirements set by Hyatt, all applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a master degree level and be fluent in English. The selected students have the honor of representing their prestigious international hotel management school.
